Milena Edwards, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who is deeply committed to providing the highest-quality training to the next generation of mental health clinicians, to help them become leaders in the field and develop innovative methods to serve the needs of people living in an increasingly complex world. Dr. Edwards’ has dedicated her career, both as a psychotherapist in private practice and as a supervisor and training director, to helping people navigate important and challenging life transitions. In her private practice she works with college students and young adults to develop autonomy and community as they enter adulthood; she works with spouses and parents as they traverse the landscapes of marriage, parenthood, and divorce; and she works with seniors to navigate aging and end of life issues. In her role as Director of Training, Dr. Edwards supports the Access Institute fellows to lay the foundation for a professional career that feels authentic, meaningful, and generative.
