Instructor Information:
Anjali George, Ph.D. (she/her/hers), practices psychoanalytically informed psychotherapy with individuals and couples in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a member of PINC’s Community Psychoanalysis Consortium, a “thinking space” that brings together various institutes, agencies, and individuals to consider the opportunities and complexities of working psychoanalytically in community settings. Formerly staff at Access Institute, she worked as an administrator and supervisor at a community mental health training institute, and she continues to teach and supervise graduate students and early career clinicians.
She also worked as an adherence rater for MAPS-sponsored clinical trials of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD and is interested in the burgeoning field of psychedelics and psychotherapy.
